$20 bill

Its been a while since I posted one of these. So for those of you who don't know what it is:

I know its happened to you before. You know that great warm feeling you get when you wear a coat for the first time since the previous season and reaching in the pocket, you find...a folded up $20 bill? Old photos and videos give me the same fuzzy. Maybe that's why I have so many that I am stressing about archiving them today. I am a photo pack rat. I keep even the ones that seem they might be meaningless or crappy. Some of those have ended up being my favorites.

First up: Tulsa Zoo Spring 2007. I just had to throw in these pics. I will always remember watching Hanna try to take her first steps to reach that goose. We were SO sure she was gonna do it....but as soon as mommy let go, down she went.

Last Spring, I took a 1:1 photo instruction session with Allison Rupp (heres her blog), of Photo Alli Photography (and her business), the photog who does our family pics every year. She was helping me learn to use the full manual functions on my camera, and this is one shot from my practice session that always makes me grin.

Last Summer. Soccer Summer Camp. Zach had a BLAST, and I can promise you, the O'Briens do an AMAZING job teaching the kids skills, but still letting them have a great time. Well worth the $.

January 2007. Zach was a little more than 2 in this photo. Obviously he doesnt foster the same aversion to snow as his brother. This photo was the Parents Magazine Baby of the Month photo for February 2007. Always makes me laugh thinking of him chasing me to toss that snow.

Feb 2007.

And just had to throw in this pic I took in the hospital the day Z and R met. Such a proud big bro!

I particularly like how in the picture of Hanna and the goose, it appears they are impersonating each other. =)
