So, Zach's latest favorite thing to say....
"Dude..."
"Dude, who is at that station?" "Dude, whats up with that car?" "DUDE?"
I am not helping the situation either. Every time he says it, I burst into laughter...despite trying my best not to. Of course, that just antagonizes the situation and puts "Dude" at the start of every sentence.
Last week it was "tsh-yaaa" --aka, "yes" like a valley girl. But he has the body language too: Eye rolling, hands out and head bobbing around like he was raised 90210 style.
Me: "that's really cool huh?"
zach: "tsh-yaa-aa"
Me: "You are getting so great at kicking the soccer ball"
zach: "tsh-yaaaa!"
Whats next? "to-tally"? "gnarly"? or maybe "WHAT-Ever!" with hand on hip and a Shaniqua like snap? With me from the West, Trent from the North, and living in the South, this kid is developing QUITE the ecclectic dialect!
