We are anxiously awaiting proofs of family pics from last weekend. We did them outside, but it was SUPER cold. Poor little Reece ended up all bundled up in his hooded sweater AND a beanie, and he just can't stop drooling these days, so his pics might be a little interesting. My eyes were watering so bad from the cold that i am sure my makeup was lovely too.
Zach decided to try to make us all laugh when posing. The kids in his preschool class have gotten really bad with the potty talk. Even the teacher said she was having a hard time with a couple of the other kids. At the wedding, he entertained the photog with "trick or treat smell my feet" That started us off on family pics too, but i guess we were all not quite shocked enough by it and things got dirty fast. He thought that he was so funny shouting all sorts of potty words to make us laugh. At first, the photographer was so shocked, that she laughed too and it set the ball in motion. Normally, i would have nipped it immediately, but it was keeping zach captivated and smiling AND in the shot, so i just ignored it. By monday, he was so tired of the words, he told me he needed to tell the kids at school that they were "too big to say dirty words and it wasnt very funny at all." So, maybe he got it all out of his system. At any rate, i am still eager to see how things turned out and i will be sure to post proofs when we see them sometime this week.

funny. maybe ignoring is sometimes the best route. can't wait to see your pictures. i'm sure they turned out great.
that is hilarious that he got sick of the potty words on his own and wants to tell the other kids to basically grow up! that's terrific and it cracks me up too!
we'll let our kids do anything they want to get a good shot! eat candy, say dirty words, it all works.
