Zach had so much fun and insisted on being Luke Skywalker this year. He also requested that Reece go as Yoda and I go as Darth Vader (flattering huh?) Reece couldn't fit in any Yoda costumes, so he ended up a sweet pea, and I was not festive this year. Maybe next year? Zach was a little annoyed that the licensed Luke Skywalker costume is actually a generic Jedi. I tried to get him the Jedi robe to go with his costume in anticipation of a very cold Halloween night, but "That would make me Yoda, not Luke, Mommy!"
We went to pick a pumpkin a few weeks before the day. Zach was not too fond of the inside of the pumpkins when we finally buckled down to carve them. His school had a great "Fall Festival" at night the week before. Josh's rehearsal dinner was the 31st, but we squeezed in some trick or treating in between the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner anyway.
