My friend Heidi was in town for a pediatricians appointment this afternoon, and brought her two girls by. Needless to say, Zach has had an ongoing fascination with her almost 3 year old daughter since she was born. It borders on a first crush and its so cute to watch him fawn over her. He begs for all my friends kids to visit, but for whatever reason, he is particularly awed by Hanna. She IS quite cute if I do say so myself and her folks would make fabulous in-laws!
After the girls had a quick lunch at the house and headed out, I put my boys down for a nap. When I got Zach out of bed, he had neatly spread out a blanket on the floor at the foot of his bed and placed a pillow near the top of it. In his wake-up delirium, I asked him about the blanket. His reply:
"I am really sweet"
"You are? Why?" I asked.
"I thought in case of Hanna wanted to stay I put it out for her to sleep in my room."
Yes, its almost a creepy adoration, but adorable in all its glory.

i don't know if daddy would allow it but i'd say he's pretty harmless. that is so zach to think of hanna. love the new background!
